Henry Dance Studio has always been in the forefront of creating affordable opportunities for the general public to participate in DanceSport in Malaysia.
Under the artistic leadership of its director and Principal Mr.
Henry Chan, the School offers the finest dance lessons from beginner to
advanced levels of all ages. The forms of dance range from social dance, Latin
and standard Ballroom dancers, with many others. It provides great opportunity
for aspiring individuals, regardless of their age or experience, to discover
the joys of dance. Even if some do not see themselves as a professional dancer,
the confidence, self-awareness and friendship they find at the School will help
enhance their everyday lives.
Apart from pursuing excellence in dance training, Henry
Dance Studio further cements their leading edge advantages by competing on a
regular basis with many awards and championship to its credits. To encourage
amateur dancers to strive for excellence, especially newcomers, it masterminds
a series of competitions such as the annual National Cup Ballroom Dancing
Competition.
With the same enthusiasm and vigor, it also organizes and
hosts its very own events open to the community at large, such as the
sensational “Unforgettable Evening – Dinner & Dance” and its sequels,
bringing dancing to a new direction as a healthy sporting activity for all.

亨利舞蹈学院创于1980年，历经30多年的毅力，在全国开创14间分校。其舞蹈学院缔造无数的习舞良机给普罗大众，更协助推广舞蹈艺术给各阶层人士。
历年来亨利舞蹈学院的学生们在国内外国际锦标赛事中获奖无数，更在2000年被英国国家专业舞蹈教师协会委任为拉丁和国际交际舞的考试官。2012年再度颁获荣誉列进马来西亚记录大全，为“全马最悠久的舞蹈训练中心”。

Mr. Henry Chan
Started dancing since 1978, Henry received his full-time dance training in London Studio Center, England majoring in Jazz, Modern Ballet, Theater and Stage. Passing his Professional Teachers Examination with the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD) and the U.K. Professional Teachers of Dancing (UKA) in 1980 with membership in 1982 and fellowship in 1985, Henry is the only professional dance teacher in Malaysia obtaining fellowship in Jazz, Stage and Latin branch.
In 2015, Henry received the highest award being awarded EXAMINER and LIFE MEMBER by the Council of NATD (London)
From 1985 – 1989, Henry and his partner have represented Malaysia to compete in many international dance competitions and won as champions. In 1990, he retired from competitive dancing and concentrated on dance education. The hallmark of his teaching experience includes teaching the Medal Tests System to students, training dancers, competitors and teachers, of whom some have attained professional level.
Today, Henry is an international adjudicator who holds the rights from NATD (London) to organize Medal Tests Examinations in Malaysia and has successfully implemented to dancing schools throughout Malaysia to teach the Medal Tests System.
